SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A lot of new things are happening at Philadelphia's nine community schools funded by the new beverage tax.
Mayor Jim Kenney stopped by one of them, South Philadelphia High.
A full time coordinator has been working with parents, teachers and students to identify the community's biggest needs.
Since the initiative started, the high school has expanded many programs, including a clothing bank for students to get new or gently used items for free.
