SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) --Police say a driver fled the scene of a fiery crash near Philadelphia International Airport.
Authorities say the driver was fleeing police when he crashed.
It all began around 1 a.m. Thursday in Tinicum Township, Delaware County.
According to investigators, the driver sped away from a police stop for traffic violations.
Police then pursued the driver onto I-95. The driver then lost control on a turn-around near the airport.
The vehicle then crashed and burst into flames. However, the driver was able to get out of the wreck and flee.
He was last spotted near the airport parking garage.
Fire crews arrived and put the car fire out.
There were no injuries to police officers.
