Man, 29, shot and wounded in Crescentville section of Philadelphia

CRESCENTVILLE (WPVI) -- A man is recovering after being shot in the leg while walking in Philadelphia's Crescentville neighborhood.

It happened at 12 a.m. Thursday in the 56-hundred block of Hill Creek Court.

Medics took the 29-year-old victim to Einstein Medical Center in stable condition.

He told police he didn't see who shot him.

Police were checking area surveillance cameras for clues.
