NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A Halloween party turned deadly for a young father, and his family is asking for the public's help Saturday night.

Porcha Love and Myeshia Addison say they feel the loss of Troy Robinson every day.

Porcha Love, a cousin said, "He was always there for us. You know like we can always depend on him to be there. You know funny guy makes everyone laugh, just a good guy."

His fiancé, Myeshia Addison added, "It's a tremendous loss, it really is."

Addison says on Saturday, October 29, Robinson was going to a family Halloween party along the 3400 block of Old York Road in North Philadelphia.

"He asked me to go, but we had just come from Sesame Place with our daughter that evening, so I was tired, so I stayed home while he went by himself," said Addison.

At about 5:44 a.m., police responded to the scene and found the 32-year-old, shot in the head.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

"He was a good guy, a good father, you know a good brother, a good son, you know. So I'm just hoping if anyone knows anything please please come forward," said Love.

The Citizens Crime Commission is administering a one-thousand dollar reward and the city of Philadelphia is offering up to 20-thousand dollars in reward money for the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.

All you have to do is call 215-546-TIPS.

All calls will remain anonymous.

Addison hopes her 5-year-old daughter will remember her father.

She said, "His smile and you know that was her partner in crime. And just knowing that he loved her very much, no matter what. He was always there from day one."
