Conservation contest awards

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Local children took home cash prizes for their efforts to protect the planet.

The Philadelphia Zoo announced the winners of the Albert Greenfield Foundation's UNLESS contest Thursday.

Each student team had to design a campaign to save energy and water.

Through public outreach, the finalists shared meaningful conservation tips with more than 75 thousand people in their communities.
