NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man was freed from a hole at a residential construction site in North Philadelphia.

It happened around 6:30 p.m. Friday on the 1700 block of Willington Street.

Crews were working at the site when a wall collapsed, trapping the 46-year-old man.

The victim was pulled from the hole and taken to Hahnemann University Hospital for treatment.

He suffered injuries to his left leg, and is listed in stable condition.
