2-alarm fire at Carneys Point country club

CARNEYS POINT, N.J. (WPVI) -- Firefighters in Salem County battled a fire at a Carneys Point country club.

The blaze broke out around 1:15 p.m. Friday at the Sakima Country Club on the 300 block of Shell Road.

A second alarm was struck at 2:53 p.m.

The fire chief at the scene tells Action News a building, approximately 50' by 100', collapsed. It contained mowing equipment and about 100 golf carts.

There are reports of propane tanks exploded.

No injuries have been reported.
