2 Delaware men killed in NE Pa. crash

FRANKLIN TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Police have identified the two men from Wilmington, Delaware who were killed in a crash over the weekend in Carbon County, Pennsylvania.

The crash happened in Franklin Township just after 2:30 a.m. Sunday.

Officials say Christopher Mattera and Brian McGovern died when the SUV they were riding in slammed into several trees and boulders.

Another passenger was critically injured. The driver was not seriously hurt.

Police believe both alcohol and speed played a role, but no charges have been filed yet.
