COBBS CREEK (WPVI) -- Two people were injured after a van and a SEPTA trolley crashed in the Cobbs Creek section of Philadelphia on Monday.

The crash happened shortly after 8 a.m. at the intersection of Baltimore Avenue and 55th Street.

SEPTA officials say the Route 34 trolley was travelling west on Baltimore Avenue when it collided with the van.

Police say the van may have run a red light.

At least one of the victims was on the trolley. It was not immediately known if the other victim was also a trolley passenger or was in the van.

Meanwhile, SEPTA said it was providing shuttle buses in the area.
