13 people were hospitalized after a SEPTA bus and a school bus collided in the Fern Rock section of Philadelphia.

FERN ROCK (WPVI) -- SEPTA says a total of 13 people, including one of its bus drivers, are being evaluated at area hospitals after a collision involving a SEPTA bus and a mini school bus in the Fern Rock section of Philadelphia.

It happened at 6:10 a.m. Monday at North Broad Street and North Park Avenue, near SEPTA's Fern Rock station.

Police say the mini school bus collided with a Route 11 bus trolley, damaging a utility pole.

20 people were on the SEPTA bus.

Thirteen of them, including the driver, were taken to area hospitals to be checked out, including two women who were taken to Einstein Medical Center with head and neck injuries.

All of the injuries were believed to be minor.

Police tell Action News three adults and no children were on the school bus. None were injured.

There was no immediate word what led to the crash.
