SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) --Two women are hospitalized after both were stabbed in Southwest Philadelphia, police say.
The incident occurred shortly after 10:00 p.m. Tuesday on the 6400 block of Buist Avenue.
Police were called for the report of a fight. Upon arrival, they found a 21-year-old woman and a 19-year-old woman suffering from stab wounds to the chest.
Both were rushed by Philadelphia medics to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for care.
Police say the suspected attacker is believed to be a woman.
There is no word on a motive or arrests.
