NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Approximately 20 people have been displaced after a court order called for the closure of a boarding house in North Philadelphia.

The house is located in the 3000 block of North 22nd Street.

City officials got a temporary restraining order from Philadelphia Common Pleas Court Judge Nina Wright Padilla.

The house was the scene of a fatal fire on November 7, 2014.

Afterwards city officials learned from PECO that there was an illegal electrical hookup inside.

About 20 people were living inside the home, which was being operated by the Alliance of Youth Ministries.

Those residents were given temporary shelter at Dobbins High School.

City officials plan to be back in court on Monday in efforts to keep the boarding house shut down.
