Phans Feeding Families food drive

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Phillies are helping to fight hunger in Philadelphia.

The team donated 40 thousand dollars to the nonprofit Philabundance.

That money will proive 80 thousand meals for area children in need.

The Phillies also announced this year's Phans Feeding Families food drive will be on June 14th when they host the Boston Red Socks.

Eight dollars from every ticket sold will go to Philabundance.
