Hit-and-run driver slams into parked car in Somerton; 2 hurt

Philadelphia Police are on the hunt for the driver who crashed into two people, injuring them, and fled the scene.

It happened at 3:45 a.m. Thursday on Sewell Road near Byberry Road, in the city's Somerton section.

Police say two people were sitting in a parked car when another vehicle slammed into the back of their car.

The driver backed up and drove away from the crash scene.

A 23-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man were taken to the hospital with multiple injuries.

Both were listed in stable condition.
