Delco toddler falls asleep in firetruck during July 4th parade
Delco toddler falls asleep in firetruck during July 4th parade: ALicia Vitarelli reports during Action News at 4:30 p.m. on July 5, 2017.

EAST LANSDOWNE, Pa. (WPVI) -- The Fourth of July is jam packed with action and activities - fireworks, cookouts, festivals and parades.

It's hard for adults to keep up, so imagine how it feels for toddlers!

Three-year-old Joseph Shuker was all dressed up in his firefighter gear for the East Lansdowne parade when his dad, Bill, caught him nodding off.

Bill is a 20-year-veteran with the Lansdowne Fire Company.

The pair were all ready to greet the crowd when Fire Co. Engine 19 came down the parade route yesterday.

But sweet little Joseph missed the whole thing.
