KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- A 21-year-old is in critical condition after being shot several times in the Kensington section of Philadelphia.

The shooting happened before 4 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Jasper and East Atlantic.

The victim was on his bicycle when he was gunned down.

He was rushed to Temple University Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was shot just feet from a group of children who were swimming in a kiddie pool.

Fortunately, none of the children were hurt.

So far, there are no arrests or word on a motive.
