Man shot dead in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a homicide in North Philadelphia.

It happened around 9 p.m. Thursday on the 100 block of West Lippincott Street.

Police say a 39-year-old man was shot in the chin, arm, and side.

He was taken to Temple University Hospital and pronounced dead.

So far, there are no arrests.
