BEDMINSTER TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- A grinding crash littered Route 611 with debris Wednesday night in Bedminster Township, Bucks County.

Chopper 6 was over the scene around 9:30 p.m. when the two cars collided.

The accident involves an SUV and a passenger car.

Two people suffered serious injuries, and were taken to two area hospitals.

The roadway has been shut down in both directions.
