WOODBURY, N.J. (WPVI) -- Candles were lit and prayers were said at a vigil Thursday night for the house-sitter killed inside of a home in Woodbury, Gloucester County.

Members of the community gathered on Hopkins Street where 26-year-old Shawneeq Carter was beaten to death last Saturday.

Organizers provided words of support for Carter's father and her five-year-old son.
