2 teens critical after Northeast Philadelphia collision

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Two teens were critically injured Wednesday after an accident in Northeast Philadelphia.

It happened around 4 p.m. at Norcom and Charter streets.

Police say a car with three teens was traveling when it collided with a pickup truck at that location.

The victims were rushed to Aria Health Torresdale.

A 17 year-old was treated and then released. Two 15-year-old victims were transferred to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in critical condition Wednesday night.

The driver of the pickup truck suffered a minor wrist injury.

Police are continuing to investigate.
