Fire damages home in Gloucester Twp.
Three people were able to escape a burning home in Gloucester Township, Camden County.

GLOUCESTER TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Three people were able to escape a burning home in Gloucester Township, Camden County.

The blaze started shortly after 12 a.m. Sunday at a home in the unit block of Lincoln Avenue.

Fire officials tell Action News the fire began in the basement and spread to other parts of the home before firefighters could get the upper hand.

The American Red Cross of New Jersey is helping the three people that were displaced.

Fire investigators are working to determine what sparked the blaze.
