A 3-year-old boy has died after the River Line light rail hit a car on Friday.

DELRAN, N.J. (WPVI) -- A 3-year-old boy has died after a car was struck by the River Line light rail on Friday in Delran, New Jersey.

The child was one of three people in the car that was hit around 4 p.m. at Saint Mihiel Drive and Chester Avenue.

There was no word on the condition of the other occupants.

There were five non-life-threatening injuries on the River Line. A total of 75 passengers were aboard.

Video from the Action Cam showed the heavily-damaged car on the tracks.

A photo of the River Line showed damaged to its front end.

The name of the boy killed has not been released.

The Burlington County Prosecutor's Office is investigating the crash.
