Man hospitalized after being struck by vehicle in Northeast Philadelphia

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man is hospitalized after being hit by a car in Northeast Philadelphia.

Police say the unidentified man was crossing Roosevelt Boulevard near Devereaux Avenue around 1:45 a.m. Sunday when a vehicle hit him.

He was taken to Aria Torresdale Hospital where he is undergoing tests.

At this time there is no word on his condition.

Police have not said whether the driver is expected to face any charges.
