Lockdown lifted at Philadelphia schools after nearby shooting

Four schools are on lockdown due to a shooting in Logan.

LOGAN (WPVI) -- Four Philadelphia schools were placed on lockdown Monday due to a shooting in Logan.

Police say the shooting happened around 11:17 a.m. at Broad Street and Olney Avenue.

A 42-year-old man was shot in the leg.

Police say he was able to walk to Einstein Medical Center where he is listed in stable condition.

Central High School, Philadelphia High School for Girls, Julia Ward Howe School, and the Widener Memorial School were placed on lockdown during the investigation.

The lockdown was lifted early Monday afternoon.

No arrests have been made.
