LOGAN (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are trying to determine if a drunk driver caused a two-vehicle crash that sent six people to the hospital.

The accident occurred around 2:30 a.m. Sunday on Wyoming Avenue near Old York Road in the Logan section of the city.

Investigators say a Chevrolet with four men inside was traveling westbound when it veered into an Acura headed southbound.

The impact sent the Acura into a traffic light pole and a retention wall.

Firefighters had to pry open the vehicle to free the man and woman trapped inside.

All six people involved in the crash were taken to Einstein Medical Center in stable condition.

So far police have not filed any charges.

Philadelphia police are also investigating a possible DUI accident that injured two officers in West Philadelphia.
