Philadelphia police say a man robbed a 7-Eleven store in East Oak Lane with a sword.

EAST OAK LANE (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police say a man robbed a 7-Eleven store in East Oak Lane with a sword.

The robbery was reported at 5 a.m. Sunday morning 5th and Independence.

Police say the suspect was wearing a black mask and armed with what was described as a Samurai sword.

The suspect demanded money and got away with an undetermined amount of cash.

He then fled the store on foot and remains at large.
