Atlantic City fire chief dropped pants incident under investigation

ATLANTIC CITY (WPVI) -- The chief of the Atlantic City Fire Department is now on paid administrative leave following a bizarre incident that was caught on surveillance camera.

The video was taken from inside the public safety building earlier this month.

Investigators say the man seen at the metal detectors is fire Chief Dennis Brooks.

The female security guard told authorities she asked Brooks to remove all metal items before going through the machine.

Brooks then stood back, unbuckled his belt and pulled down his pants in front of the guard.

He quickly pulled them back up and allegedly said quote "I am having a bad day."

The incident is under investigation.
