A number of area newlyweds contacted Action News Troubleshooters with claims that their wedding videographer was paid in full and disappeared with their videos.

A number of area newlyweds contacted Action News Troubleshooters with claims that their wedding videographer was paid in full and disappeared with their videos.

To forever capture their "I dos" - dozens of couples paid Mike Dolbow of Dolbow Video Productions.

"At the time, this was a reputable business. And I think we've all basically been duped," said Jennifer Eaker.

Dolbow worked out of the same plaza that's home to Celebrations Weddings in Bensalem and his business was highly recommended.

Eaker paid him nearly $865 but never got her video.

The Toronis paid $795 and never got their video either.

"I was enraged. I was so upset that you know that someone could just do this," said Natalie Toroni.

Stacie Hartman-Mendez gave Dolbow more than $1,400.

"It's heartbreaking," said Hartman-Mendez.

We also interviewed Ryan Smith who says Dolbow didn't even show up to his wedding and he's owed a refund of $1476.

So what do these couples want now?

"We just want the actual footage from our wedding," said Steve Toroni.

Dolbow Video Productions is no longer in that Bensalem plaza but Dolbow left Action News a voicemail on which he said, "It is not me who is the owner. I'm Michael Dolbow III. The owner is my father who basically left for Florida and left me in this position."

However all the people we spoke to say they gave their money directly to the younger Dolbow.

And when Action News talked to Dolbow's dad, he says he sold his son the business.

"100 percent of the shares were sold to him on January 1, 2013 with a promissory note to make payment which hasn't been kept. It's disappointing," said Mike Dolbow Sr.

Bensalem police say they have about 16 reports of the younger Dolbow taking as much as $4,000 from couples.

"He's avoiding us a little bit. If he continues to avoid us, the next video is going to be of him with numbers underneath it," said Fred Harran, Bensalem Police Director of Public Safety.

The good news is after Action News contacted Dolbow, the Eakers and a long list of other couples got their raw videos and a handwritten note from Dolbow saying - "this was not intentional."

"I don't have my own house at the moment and all of my equipment is in storage. If I thought I would lose everything I owned, I would not have agreed to run the business," said Eakers, reading the note she received from Dolbow aloud.

Eaker is just relieved to have her memories.

"I just want to say thank you so much. I feel without you, Nydia and 6abc, this never would have happened. I'm absolutely happy," said Eaker.

Dolbow emailed Action News a photo of all the raw videos he has, saying that he's now sent them to 27 couples.
