Four people are injured after an ambulance collided with a SEPTA bus.

WYNNEFIELD (WPVI) -- An accident involving a SEPTA bus and an ambulance has left four people injured.

SEPTA officials say just after 10:00 a.m. Thursday a private ambulance t-boned a Route 52 bus in the area of 54th Street and Lebanon Avenue in the Wynnfield section of Philadelphia.

The impact of the crash sent the bus on the front lawn of a building.

The bus driver, a passenger, and two people from the ambulance were injured.

Police are continuing to investigate.
