Armed suspects rob restaurant in Wynnefield

Philadelphia police are looking for a pair of suspects who robbed a restaurant at gunpoint in the city's Wynnefield section.

WYNNEFIELD (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are looking to identify two suspects who robbed a restaurant at gunpoint in the city's Wynnefield section.

It happened October 13 inside the Subway restaurant on the 5600 block of Lancaster Avenue.

According to police, the pair entered the store at 4 p.m.

One of the suspects pointed a gun at an employee while the second leaned over the counter and stole money from the cash register.

The duo then fled the scene with an unknown amount of cash and were last spotted heading south on 56th Street.

No injuries were reported.

The first suspect is described as a black male in his late 30s, 5'7-5'8 tall, husky build, balding with facial hair. He was wearing a light colored zip-up hooded sweatshirt, dark colored pants, and white/black shoes.

The second suspect is described as black male in his late 30s, 6'1" tall with a light complexion and muscular build. He was wearing black eye glasses, light colored pull over jacket, dark colored pants, and hat. He was also armed with a handgun.
