Arrest in deadly bar stabbing in Upper Darby

UPPER DARBY, Pa. (WPVI) -- Police have arrested the suspect wanted for a deadly stabbing inside an Upper Darby bar.

Miguel Escalon was arrested in Philadelphia.

Police say he stabbed Wilson Zunija Aquirre in the neck after some kind of dispute inside La Cantina bar in the 6800 block of Market Street around 12:15 a.m. Thursday.

Aquirre was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he later died.

Authorities say Escalon, who is from Honduras, has been in the United States illegally.

He faces several charges including first degree murder.
