ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. -- A Coast Guard crew from Atlantic City rescued the captain of a fishing boat off the coast of Virginia.

The captain of the trawler was suffering symptoms of a stroke.

The Coast Guard hoisted him from the ship and into a chopper. The captain was flown to Atlantic-Care Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City.

His condition hasn't been released.

There were three people aboard the boat at the time.

The Coast Guard says they were able to quickly find the boat thanks to its Electronic Position Indicating Radio Beacon.
