Body recovered from Schuylkill River in Fairmount Park

FAIRMOUNT PARK (WPVI) -- First responders recovered a body from the Schuylkill River Thursday night.

Crews were called to 700 block of Kelly Drive in Fairmount Park after someone spotted the body in the river.

They recovered the body of an African American man.

An investigation is underway to determine who the man is, how long he had been in the water and how he died.
