TAMAQUA, Pa. (WPVI) -- A young boy in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania is taking action in his community... one duck at a time.
8-year-old Keenan Cook was upset when he witnessed ducks being struck and killed by drivers in Tamaqua.
So, he took wrote a letter asking the borough council to add duck crossing signs.
Keenan says, "It was making me feel sad. And the other day my mom told me if I wanted to I could write a letter. It's only for grown ups."
Council voted unanimously to install the signs.
Council members say the boy will likely be on the other side of council chambers one day.
