A business owner from Bucks County has been charged with ripping off dozens of customers, and authorities say there could be many more victims out there.

So far, investigators say, 34 people have filed complaints against 55-year-old Gregory Bertino.

He's the owner of Robert's Motor Mart on East Bristol Road. That's where one victim, Ray Rosato, said he and his son bought a used wood chipper

That chipper never functioned properly, but Bertino allegedly refused to give a refund.

"I was getting a little upset, so my son has not made any more issues about it, but it's still sitting at his home. He paid for it, they never refunded any money, they never honored the warranty," said Rosato.

The Bucks County district attorney's office has already filed criminal charges, and on Tuesday Pa. Attorney General Josh Shapiro announced civil charges.

"None of our consumers were ever able to get what they paid for, so now it's our job in the attorney general's office to fight for them," Shapiro said.

Robert Kuczynski of Bensalem is another person seeking restitution. The retired firefighter says he paid Bertino more than $300 to repair his snow blower.

When he got it back, Kuczynski says not only was it not repaired, it was also leaking gas.

He's been trying to get his money back ever since.

"I really have no place in my life for people like that," Kuczynski said.

And even though dozens of people have come forward with similar stories, Shapiro says he believes they have only scratched the surface.

"We believe there are others in this region, others in Bucks County, who have been scammed as well and we want to hear from them," he said.
