Police are searching for the suspect who held-up a limo driver at gunpoint in Philadelphia's Grays Ferry section early Wednesday morning.

Police are searching for the suspect who held-up a taxi driver at gunpoint in Philadelphia's Grays Ferry section.

The robbery happened around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Police say the driver of Premier Cab private taxi picked up a man on the 3900 block of North 9th Street.

He took the man to the 2700 block of Latona Street.

When it came time to pay, police say the man pulled out a gun and robbed the driver.

The armed suspect then fled on foot with an unknown amount of cash.

The driver was not hurt.
