Car crashes through gate, bounces off house in Brewerytown

BREWERYTOWN -- A driver lost control and crashed a car through a gate - then bounced off a house - in the Brewerytown section of Philadelphia early Friday morning.
The crash occurred just before 1:00 a.m. on Oxford Street near North 27th Street.
Early reports indicated the house was vacant but it turns out a woman was inside home.
Police are talking with the occupants inside the car to determine why the driver lost control.
There were no serious injuries reported.
