PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police said a man has been arrested and charged in the murder of a Temple student whose death appeared to be a suicide.

Brandon Meade was charged Tuesday in the murder of his girlfriend, 21-year-old Agatha Hall.

Hall's body was discovered on Aug. 31 in her apartment on the 2300 block of North Park Avenue.

She suffered a gunshot wound to the head, and police initially believed she shot herself.

Autopsy results show it is impossible for Hall to have taken her own life in that manner.

Hall's death is now being ruled a homicide.
