POTTSTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- Dozens of alleged gang members were as part of an investigation into gang activity in Pottstown, Montgomery County.

A total of 34 people were arrested as part of 'Operation War Ready,' Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman announced on Thursday in Pottsotwn.

The investigation centered on the ongoing rivalry between two gangs in Pottstown.

Arrest warrants have been issued for an additional 13 others.

"Today we're here to take back the streets. We will not let thugs terrorize our community, we will not let them run roughshod, to run wild," Ferman said.

Ferman also showed off the massive amount of assault weapons that were collected during the sweep.

She also showed black shirts that read "Straight Cash Money Gang," that were worn in an effort to terrorize and frighten residents.
