Erin O'Hearn hosts Leukemia and Lymphoma Society event

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter wrapped up its Student of the Year Campaign Saturday night in Center City.

The event at the Loews Hotel marked the end of a seven-week fundraising competition by local high school students.

The student who raised the most money earned the title Student of the Year along with a scholarship to the college or university of their choice.

And at the helm Saturday night was Action News' own Erin O'Hearn who served as emcee.
