FBI requests Kenney campaign documents

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Action News has learned the FBI has requested documents from Mayor Jim Kenney's campaign office.

Officials have not explained what they may be looking for.

Action News has requested comment from the mayor's office but has not received a response.

On August 5th, federal agents raided the homes and offices of Philadelphia City Councilman Bobby Henon and electricians' union boss John Dougherty.

There has been no indication if Friday's request of Kenney's campaign is related to those earlier raids.
