Firefighters rushed to the scene of a commercial building fire in the Parkside section of Philadelphia.

PARKSIDE (WPVI) -- Firefighters rushed to the scene of a commercial building fire in the Parkside section of Philadelphia.

It broke out at 2:00 a.m. Friday in the 4000 block of Lancaster Avenue.

Crews were able to contain the flames in under an hour.

Firefighters say the entire building, which had apartments in the upper floors, was vacant.

No one was hurt.

Investigators are working to determine the cause.

Lancaster Avenue was shut down between 40th and 41st Streets for several hours as crews worked to clear the scene.
