One firefighter was injured battling a house fire in Philadelphia's Hunting Park section.

HUNTING PARK (WPVI) -- One firefighter was injured battling a house fire in Philadelphia's Hunting Park section.

It was just before 4:30 p.m. Monday when flames broke out in the 3800 block of North 9th Street.

Fire crews managed to get the blaze under control within a half hour.

One firefighter sustained burn injuries. The firefighter was taken to Temple University Hospital and is listed in stable condition.

There is no word on what started the fire.
