FYI at Terror Behind the Walls
Melissa Magee takes a fright-filled trip through Philly's haunted prison!

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- If you're looking for a way to get your fright on this Halloween, Eastern State Penitentiary's "Terror Behind the Walls" was just named the Scariest Place in All America by People Magazine.

Creative Director, Amy Hollaman says, "Terror Behind the Walls is one of the largest haunted houses in the country."

"There's 6 attractions inside the massive haunted prison so the story starts out in lock-down. It's your first attraction, where inmates are rioting and have taken over."

Hollaman says "folks then move into a brand new attraction, machine shop."

"That's an attraction that's hidden behind the ruins of death row in an old factory part of the prison and now a group of individuals have taken over and they have evil plans," added Hollaman.

There are four more attractions says Hollaman, ranging from the "outdoor gardens, the eerie infirmary full of doctors and patients, the 3D experiment and finally Night Watch, the darkest attraction, where you go through and creatures are waiting."

On a scale of 1-10 scary, it's off the chart.
