Girl, 16, shot while riding in minivan in Trenton

TRENTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- A 16-year-old girl was shot and seriously injured while riding in a minivan in Trenton, New Jersey.

The shooting happened around 6:26 p.m. Sunday in the area of Jersey Street and Home Avenue.

Police say the girl was with several other people when someone shot at the vehicle.

The girl remains hospitalized in critical condition.

There was no word on any suspects or arrests in this shooting.
