Lightning possibly to blame for Edgewater Park fire

EDGEWATER PARK, N.J. (WPVI) -- Officials believe a lightning strike was to blame for a house fire in Edgewater Park, Burlington County.

It happened around 8:00 Wednesday night on the 200 block of Farnum Street.

Crews reported smoke and fire coming from the second and third floors upon arrival.

One person was treated for smoke inhalation.

The flames were brought under control within a half hour.

Authorities are investigating.
