UPPER TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- A New Jersey man accused of vandalizing his neighbor's home for five years will get help for alcohol abuse.

Michael Scioli Jr. was in Upper Township court to face 44 counts of criminal mischief.

Police say he threw tomatoes, eggs, and other items at John Manupello's house starting in 2008.

Today a judge granted a stay in the case, while Scioli seeks alcohol treatment for 60 days.

Once that period is over the charges will be reviewed and possibly dropped.
