Man escapes house fire in Strawberry Mansion

STRAWBERRY MANSION (WPVI) -- A man was able to escape a home after it caught fire in the Strawberry Mansion section of Philadelphia.

The fire started around 5 p.m. Sunday.

Video from an Action News viewer shows flames shooting from the home on Napa Street near 31st and Huntingdon.

A man was able to escape a home after it caught fire in the Strawberry Mansion section of Philadelphia.

Firefighters arrived on the scene a short time after the man escaped, officials say. The fire was under control in a matter of minutes.

No other injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
