Man found fatally stabbed in Wynnefield

WYNNEFIELD (WPVI) -- A man in his 20s was found fatally stabbed in an apartment complex in the Wynnefield section of Philadelphia.

It happened around 3:00 p.m. Saturday inside the Fairway Commons Apartment building in the 4900 block of Wynnefield Avenue.

The victim, a 24-year-old man was, found with a stab wound to the chest.

He was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he died.

Police are trying to determine if the stabbing actually took place inside the building or somewhere else.

No word on a motive or any possible suspects.
