Man gunned down playing pool in Juniata bar identified

JUNIATA -- Police have identified the man shot and killed while playing pool at a bar in Philadelphia's Juniata section.

28-year-old Gevanny Fabian of Lawndale Street was shot once in the chest and twice in the back of of the head.

It happened before 10:00 p.m. Monday at the Family Tavern in the 1100 block of East Luzerne and Bennington Streets.

Police say Fabian was playing pool when an argument broke out that ended with the deadly shooting.

Witnesses told police they saw the suspect running down Bennington Street after the shooting.

So far there have been no arrests in the case.
